  • In all honesty I think I'm going to struggle with it - had quite a major change in my personal circumstances which is significantly restricting my free time.
I have no idea how to organize it mate. I was thinking/hoping someone would be able to do it. I want to see it happen!
Thanks, mate. Hopefully someone could have a re-run next year, with all the flaws ironed out!
Yeah, I'll let them know. Sorry for taking so long to get it up, I had a few personal things i had to attend to. I'll leave it open for 48 hours or so, then start drafting.
Kallis for me in CW Draft League if I'm not around please. Should be around but yeah.
Yeah, that works. I'm thinking the 'Best ODI XI to have never played ODI' draft you mentioned. Will post it up now.
Its fine, I completely understand limiting it to 12 - makes draft turnover quicker and limits Smali-like delays :p
Noble at 8 gives you great batting depth, but leaves you half a bowler short IMO (since Miller's back restricts him to short bursts). I think you do need someone durable, preferably slower than Miller/Roberts/Waqar to provide some variety.

As a spinner, I would consider Subhash Gupte. Criminally underrated by CW, given Sobers said he was better than Warne. I certainly don't agree with Sobers on that point, but he was a great leg spinner regardless.

Held up the Indian attack on his own, on more than one occasion. In terms of pace bowlers, George Lohmann is still available. Obviously the average of 10 is incredibly misleading, but he was still a great bowler and deserves selection at some stage. Good enough to bat 8 as well, IMO.
I've added a couple of quicks too Allen, Ferris, Voce etc who deserve more compared to a few I mentioned before.

Yeah, two on Tuesday and I'm done for the semester. One (Advanced Financial Accounting) is gonna be a prick though. Yourself?
Sorry about the late reply. I'm not exactly sure, my set-up as a moderator is different. It might be when you click on your own username, there is a tab next to Visitor Messages and Statistics called "Infractions" - that's what we have as mods, and maybe members get that tab for themselves?

For the record, you don't have any. And you'll receive notification if you do end up with them.
