Just a quick question. How would you rate Kapil Dev as 3rd seaming option with Hadlee and Garner in the team

Hahahaha! I was worrying about that too, the last thing I want to happen is for me to get relegated and have to watch from the sidelines for a few weeks I think we've got some great ideas for the next three or four rounds now.

That's a cool idea! It would be really annoying when voting/building your team to search up the dates though, but definitely I good idea.

Yeah I get what you're saying! I think I'll use the secret draft idea for round two but rerun to a more conventional draft system for round three, unless I do manage to think up a genius 'quirk' idea. If you think of one, tell me?

So should I use that format or should I go for something else?

Yeah actually, I have a little bit of an idea. I was going to call it the Secret Draft or Voodoo Draft. The concept behind it was to encourage strategic selections and to create rivalries/selection battles between players.

The idea is that no-one votes publicly. They send the votes to me privately and if two people select the same player, that player is then eliminated from the draft and they are required to pick again. This makes strategy important, seeing as you are trying to outthink and outsmart the others.

E.G R1 selections

Jager- Bradman
Eds- Tendulkar
Monk- Bradman
Marcuss- Bradman
watson- Lara

This round would mean that watson and yourself get to keep your picks, as they were exclusive. Marcuss, Monk and myself would have to repick without Tendulkar, Lara or Bradman. Rounds would be quick and it would be interesting to see how people would attempt to win.

Anyone else on my team you consider a better batsman except Chanders/Sanga ? Pretty sure Gayle would go down a bit compared to last season.

I retained Chanders a couple rounds ahead of Gayle, and he has only gotten gunner since then, so no.

Gayle has just played 1 match in a long while now, tbf and Ganguly did well in FC recently.

What role do you want a player in anyways ?

You seem to have lot's of bowling options already, so not sure you'd be interested in a bowler.

Ganguly ? Strengthens your middle order more, while you can open with Khawaja anyways.

Not sure about his bowling last time, but still would be a better bowler than rest of by batsman.
