Lions tour 2025

Damn, bullshit. That last try shouldnt have countered. So many Lions players were blocking Australian defenders.

Unforunately where I stay I sometimes see beached whales at the coast - last few minutes of the game reminded me of that.

23-5 up to lose 28-26 is....****.

Still, for the best of Britain + Ireland to beat the Woeful wallabies by 8 and 2...northern hemisphere rugby in shambles.

Not from what I'm hearing on comms.
The Aussie even feigned a head hit, wasn’t a good look.

Too much Ireland in the team, need less chokers on the big stage.

But seriously, thought the decision to go with power off the bench instead from the start was odd.

Will have to catch the game later but reading a lot that the Aussie at the end was doing a bit of a Rivaldo hand-to-face act?

For me it was a 50/50 call, but the way Tizzano went down like a sack of shit possibly swung it against the Wobs. Pretty ordinary effort to milk it.

And Wilson had been whinging all the second half which doesn't endear a skipper to the officials.

Considering the state of RU in Australia, this series has been desperately needed.

I went to the Reds v Lions game a few weeks back and that was the first union game I've been to in over 10 years. Even just seeing the crowd at that game (albeit mostly Lions fans), this tour has been great to generate interest and get eyes on the Wallabies.

Not really bothered about the officials or the results or whatever, they just need to find a way to keep this momentum going or the sport will be irrelevant again in 12 months time.

Yeah, let’s be real this tour & the RWC was given to Australia in an attempt to revive the game here

Nobody actually thought we’d win as we’re a lower tier team these days

Unfortunately, I have no belief in the game coming back from the dead just because a boatload of tourists and expatriates go to a couple of games
