But nah, grass cutters back on the menu boys. If that's using your arms in a tackle, Owen Farrell should be head of the tackling school

Felt like a score was always coming there - haven't been out of our side of the pitch for most of the second half

Garbage time score makes the scoreline look more respectable. Enough from the Wallabies to give them hope next week and also for the Lions eradicate any potential complacency.

Pretty ugly second half for the Lions - just didn't have any ball/territory.

Looked pretty good when we did have ball in hand though.

8 points flatters the Wallabies there. Some hope for next week I guess, but if Lions took all their chances, that could of been 50.

i’m reading about the lions… so this is like, britain britain and ireland ireland?
as in the two separate sovereign nations whose bloody history still keeps them separate sovereign nations to this day? playing under the one banner?

Well, the Ireland union test side represents the whole of the island of Ireland, six counties of which are (in)famously still part of the UK.

Ireland play under 1 banner in rugby as well.

Yes, it's the British (England, Wales, Scotland) and Irish (Ireland, both RoI and NI) Lions.

Players selected from the 4 nations into 1. And could only beat the wallabies by 8. Northern Hemisphere rugby on its knees.

Lions the better side but Australia were very unlucky with some of those decisions. Both sides looked a bit short of their potential to me.

Especially when it's a sport that's only played in two states and only by well-off people in those two states.
