2nd Test (Edgbaston) - July 2nd

Amazing commentary on here completely at odds with the situation of the game. You'd think India would have a full spinnaker of momentum but somehow Prasidh has turned the game against them. He can flum a wicket though and if India can jag one the match is comfortably theirs again.

I can't see how England don't get like 500+ here. Ball is old too.

India gonna have to bat 110 to 120 overs to salvage the match.

I think Jadeja has lost consistency and that was his biggest weapon, unlike someone like an Ashwin. I still dont think the rest of the bowling line up was that poor and England had a lot of mishits that did not go to fielders etc, and the dropped catch by Gill and the one that almost carried to Washy and the one Nair missed earlier. But the problem continues to be the fact that none of our bowlers can bowl to a plan for anything more than 4 balls. Its the issue that happens because all of these guys are strike bowlers for their respective FC teams and we have no one who is capable of or knows how to bowl dry and wait for a mistake etc.

England are ensuring there's a result in this game.

Even with a lead of 500+, I'll back England to win against this pedestrian bowling attack.

He's totally undone Kohli and Shastri's work and we could get worse.
GG era has been objectively bad so far but this all started under Dravid-Rohit when Ganguly decided to **** Indian cricket for his own personal 2 min revenge or whatever crap he wants to think it is, in his stupid big dickhead.

I think we should start with Siraj and have Washy continue from the other end. The only thing that beats Bazball is usually them buying their own hype so here's hoping that happens again this coming session.

They at least need to have some kind of plan to buy a wicket. Go full death overs, stack one side of the field and bowl full and wide or something like that, something.

How terrible Prasidh is can be gauged from how despite being indulged with in his short ball "trap", despite the experience of getting Smith out on the hook in the previous game with a short ball pitched considerably outside off which Smith had to drag around...despite that info, not once in his bumper barrage today was he able to land the ball in the same location. Everything was conveniently over Smith's leading shoulder and helped over the ropes. Simply not upto professional standards.

This is karma for fking Gambhir for being thick and stubborn. Not playing Kuldeep will come back to haunt him.

I couldn't believe watching him go at 6/6.5 an over in the IPL. I thought Nehra worked miracles with him. As much as we'd like to talk about the Sydney test, I think his form in the IPL convinced this management to play him in the starting eleven. Anyway, this experiment should be ended asap. Arshdeep deserves an opportunity.

Surely Gill is telling these ***** if they don’t bowl one side of the wicket he will not just drag them but publicly humiliate them by sending them off the park and playing with ten.

Probably a mercy Mayank Yadav is always injured. Looks a picture when fit but I can see him fast-tracked to the senior team on account of his pace and get carted around as well.

Siraj should bowl short to Smith after lunch. I’m not convinced he can consistently clear boundary fielders off the pull shot, and Siraj has a much better bouncer than He Who Shall Not Be Named.
