Without checking statsguru, I think no one in test history has a better batting average and a lower bowling average playing more tests than him. So, stats wise no dispute at all and it all comes to eye test and the dissection by countries etc.

This feels like a draw written all over it. Can't see the wicket breaking up and India I think will struggle to justify risking it against a team that could realistically chase down 500.
