The Brisbane Breakthrough

It was baffling. @silentstriker called it the worst Indian team he'd ever seen in the thread at the toss. No one gave them a chance.
It was baffling if you forgot that Australia lost in Melbourne with brittle batting and had failed to defeat a weakened Indian side in Sydney. It was also baffling if you engaged in a ton of exaggeration as to how bad the Indian team was relative to the Australian one, something a lot of the Indian posters did at the time and apparently still continue to do. It was not baffling when you saw how the two sides actually performed, especially in the previous match.

The Indian bowling lineup that test basically didn't have any of the guys who'd made the series competitive though (except Siraj).

We should speak about it more so people get salty about us speaking about it too much. It was fun the last time that happened.
Yeah.

We lost before series: Ishant
We lost after Adelaide: Kohli, Shami
We lost after Melbourne: Umesh
We lost after Sydney: Bumrah, Ashwin, Jadeja, Vihari.

At least 6 out of those 8 would have played at Brisbane if they were available.
