If you want to disregard "quantity" i.e. being great for a long time, then you can quite easily take a slice of Anderson's career of a comparable length since Boult's debut. But you wont do that since you know Anderon's averages would absolutely destroy Boult's if you did (Since Boult's debut, Anderson averages 23 overall and 28 with the kookaburra). Both disregarding longevity and sneakily ignoring the fact that Anderson's averages are better if you do disregard longevity is ridiculously stupid.sunilz has been gagging for this post - it's probably the only reason he made the thread - so here we go
KOOKAFACTS
boult duke - 34 @ 26 (21 @ 23 in england)
boult kookaburra - 227 @ 27
anderson duke - 420 (blaze it) @ 23
anderson kookaburra - 160 @ 32
boult home - 164 @ 25
boult away - 102 @ 31
anderson home - 384 @ 23
anderson away - 208 @ 31
the main thing anderson has in his favour is pure quantity (which only 2 other nations can realistically hope to emulate because they're the only teams who invite each other and the west indies over for 4-5 game series) otherwise they're virtually identical bowlers. anderson also only plays one format since 2015 whereas boult plays almost every game he's fit for, and now anderson even gets dropped...sorry rested.
Not surprised that the only ones who think your post is good are posters whose opinions on cricket are almost always worthless.
