What's the policy on voting for groups which contain one's team? Are you allowed to/disallowed from voting for your own side? Or do voters abstain from voting in their groups?

My bad fixed. Just waiting for Marcuss to settle on a batting order
I'll suggest don't vote when your team is in contest. There's a handicap for anyone who votes and doesn't vote for his own side while some others in the contest don't vote.

My votes:

Group 2 - FullerPilch, Marcuss
Group 3 - Pothas, Teuton
Group 4 - srbkshk, Ataraxia

Some really tough and marginal calls.

Group 1 - some great allrounders in a few groups and excellent batting throughout.

Jojo's batting is superb with McCullum and Kapil following a quality top 6. It would also be interesting seeing 2 such contrasting but excellent openers. Perhaps another bowling option and that would be absolutely top rate.

Red Hill - some incredibly exciting talents here. Imagine Viv and G Chappell together with the bat and Lillee and Larwood steaming in.Possibly weaker tail than the other sides.

Ankjit - really well balanced side with lots of quality bowling options. This is a good attack. Perhaps some batting vulnerability from 5-7, but the very strong top 4 covers this. Nice work to nab Hadlee and Shakib.

Mr mr - another power packed batting lineup with players with a very good top 5 and more of the gun allrounders who are prevalent in these group 1 teams. There is depth in the bowling, but perhaps not as strong as some other attacks.

KK - amazing effort to have the 3 allrounders from 5-7. Varied and balanced side as a result but perhaps some other teams have stronger top orders and specialist seamers.

Overall this was very very tough.
Ankjit is one of the top 2 as I like the balance.
The other is Red Hill as there are some many tough players who'd never take a backward step.

I need more time for groups 3 and 4.

Group 2 - I liked all the sides but won't vote.

Here are some comments:

Trundler - nice work to get Waite who was quality. Strong overall side with Kallis and Trueman obvious standouts.

Stephen ZA - v good top 3 and the GOAT spinner but some of the others are perhaps not as proven.

Marcus - strong top 8 with Ames and Imran following the batsmen. Laker and Imran are standouts with the ball and Border's SLAs will come in handy.

Group 3 - extremely hard to pick again.

Pothas - very strong side. Mushtaq Mohammed and Shaun Pollock provide depth to batting and bowling. Great bowling attack and strong batting led by Steve Smith.

L and L - started with McGrath and finished with Bradman. Great pace attack and excellent tactics to snare the big fish of batting. His support is good, but perhaps could've been better. Maybe Dilip Vengsakar instead of Viswanath or Ganguly.

Teuton - strong batting lineup, ATG gloveman, and very nicely balanced bowling with support from Dexter and Wooley.

Coronis - magnificent middle order (3-7). Miller improves the pace attack and adds depth to the batting. Not the strongest opening batting pair.

This was very tough. I was so impressed with L and L's strategy to get Bradman I feel terrible not choosing his team, but Pothas and Teuton are the two I'm picking from this group.

Group 4

Honest Hunks - plenty of bowling options obviously led by Marshall. Did well after waiting so long for 2nd pick. Strong 3-4 and great work to get Gilchrist, but opening batsmen leave the side looking a bit vulnerable.

srbkshk - solid batting lineup and nasty bowling attack (expect a lot of short balls!). Kumble provides good variation. Not sure the best position to bat M Waugh.

Andrew B - very classy side. Worrell and Greig support the main bowlers. Quality top 5 with the bat. O'Reilly perhaps the best of the spinners in group 4.

Ataraxia - another gun side. Several of the batsman are very handy with the ball and who knows how great the likes of Procter and Bond could've been with more opportunities. Able to play Walcott and Flower as specialist batsmen and still have bowling riches.

Extremely tough again, but my votes go to Andrew B and Ataraxia.
