England just seem a shattered cricket team that don't believe that they actually won the world cup, when they know it was a tie.
An understandable collective guilt for committing such an injustice has overtaken them

We're gonna end up well short on overs for the session. DRS and ridiculous stumps delay aside, how much leeway do we get from Root constantly pulling away just before the bowler enters his delivery stride?

Think it's going to be easier to list who stays in the XI for the second test than who goes at this rate.

Jimmy is broken, Moeen looks utterly shot, Woakes was blowing out of his arse yesterday, Denly patently not of the requisite quality, Roy not looking a test opener's arsehole and YJB must be on last warning too.

Reverse sweep isn't inherently more dangerous than any other shot, it covers the spin and he plays it well. He'd get crucified if he got out doing it for some reason, rather than if he got caught just prodding his pad forward and getting caught at short leg.

Agreed. As it stands - I'm going Archer for Jimmy, Leach for Moeen, Sibley for Denly and if YJB fails again it's Foakes in for him.
