I don't think I've been particularly rude tbh, made no personal insults or comment on any other posters, just stated an opinion that this is a poor thread in a sub-forum cluttered with them. People do this in threads all over the forum.

In one of my more immature moments I once got revenge on a site owner (when I revenge he didn't do anything I just didn't like him) by using a website downloader to download his entire site thus using up all his bandwidth and putting the site offline for the rest of the month.

This is a public forum and a public thread. Other people have expressed their opinions about the battle by voting, why is mine any different? Just because I disagree with you over the need to run this battle? I wasn't insulting, I didn't say anything inappropriate or demeaning to you as a forum member or a person. I've broken no rules. If roles were reversed I most certainly wouldn't be offended, public discourse is encouraged here. If you don't agree that the winner of this battle should clearly be Adam Gilchrist I'd be happy for you to tell me why I am wrong.
