How can a few numbers describe the long and complex part of life a cricketer, known as career.
Stats have no importance in front of realities.
Because of the misconception that stats are everything, people still rate bradman above the greatest batsmen, even when they have never watched him batting.
Even conditional statements like "Australia won the match" don't have that much importance in determining the greatness of someone.
It is possible that in a match b/w A and B teams, A played better but B won. While rating players, The derivations of such statements contain a large number of presumptions.
