Super excited about the start of the WC specially the NZ game. Would be great if there was a twitter page for each match where people could upload pictures and videos leading up to the game and even during the game.

Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if we lose and won't be overly disappointed as I expect SL to make the semis.

Weather anyone?
Not brilliant from all reports. Sounds like if there are going to be showers, they'll be between 11am-1pm.

Either way, at worst it will be an over-reduced game, the shower aren't expected to hang around.

I hate these times, going to start at 11pm, wife is angry at me as it is and I will get murdered if I stay up all night and leave her to look after the kids by herself tomorrow. Grrrr decisions.

Rain reduced games can be quite a farce. Don't know whether batting first or last would be an advantage but one team will end up with an advantage. I reckon we should bat 2nd though. I enjoy a good chase but either way all good. Atleast if you bat 2nd if the weather is better we wont get interrupted. Rain breaks can halt momentum.

If they do go with sena and herath I will be a bit worried, otherwise expecting a good performance today. My preferred bowling combo is Southee, Milne an either Boult or McClenaghan. Can't go too wrong with that I reckon.

Boults one of my favs but I love McClenaghans attitude and aggression. With him you don't die wondering he's rocks or diamonds. Usually gets the good results too.

Currently not raining/drizzling where I am in Christchurch (about 4km from the ground). Quite overcast and a bit of a breeze. Not the most pleasant conditions for cricket but certainly not awful at this stage.
