One-from-each-era draft 2014

NUFAN

Y no Afghanistan flag
Chris Gayle interesting choice.

When Test Cricket was in its infancy it was a simple time with the man behind the stumps known as glovemen or for the radical, keeper. This all changed when arguably the best pure keeper doned the gloves. His name was Bert Strudwick and during his career the position behind the stumps was changed to 'Strudwick keeper'. His county captain, whos accent was a sight to hear once said strudwick, but others througjt he had said strudwicket and then a few days later tye strud was dropped to wicket keeper.

Bert Strudwick from the strudwick era.

It wasn't NUFAN's turn yet. He named Gayle and Strudwick as his 2 choices I believe. We are waiting for Kopite I think.

NUFAN obviously assumed that SK had picked Chris Gayle and so went ahead and picked Strudwick for himself.

Incidently, Strudwick is a good strategic pick.

I think Nufan joked about Gayle being SK's pick. You guys are missing full tosses going down the leg side.

LMAO @ Laude Lag GAY(l)E and the confusion of NUFAN

This is mad funny. I kept scratching my head about why Nufan had said about Gayle being an interesting pick when weldone actually picked Lawry. haha!

I picked Grimmett, and Red Hill picked Lawry after 2/3 unsuccessful attempts. I think Lawry was the reason behind SK's 'Laude' remark as the two sound similar.
