Sounds like Wagner is spending the credit he built up on Bangladesh's flat pitches.

Where are you Milners or Henryers?
Yeah, indeed. Even Bennett might force his way into the frame if he carries on like he did yesterday.

i'm no expert on leg-spin bowling but it seems like Sodhi needs to develop a lower-arm delivery with a bit more sidespin because his googly spins more than his leggie atm.

Ugh, this is getting ugly. People may disagree, but I don't think New Zealand should ever be enforcing the follow-on when they're not seriously pressed for time. We rely so much on Southee and Boult for our wickets that we have to be certain that they're always rested and prepared to bowl a long spell with the new ball.

They were still 400 behind, ffs. That's 2 new balls. Even if they get to 500 that still a relatively easy chase.

Sure it's not the best for the bowlers' figures, but it's the best way for us to win the test.

Disagree, especially in a test match where there is so much time left. The best way to win the test is to ensure that the majority of the first 20 overs are bowled by Southee and Boult, because the drop-off in quality between our new ball and old ball bowling is pretty vaste.
