Wow, you're a douche.Yeah he also rates a match fixing druggie higher than himself.
Pretty dire posting tbh.Interesting that he included a few match fixing cheats in his list.
Says a lot about the man.

Well, even as it is? The batsmen who played him best? His worst record is against the Aussies. Not even one of them?Possibly if the list were of the 10 best batsmen he'd thrown at there'd be a few there?
The Australians being the best collectively against Murali means nothing when it's a list of individual batsmen Murali has bowled to.Well, even as it is? The batsmen who played him best? His worst record is against the Aussies. Not even one of them?
EDIT: are you making a crack with the "throw" remark?![]()

And individually they did well against him. Half our line-up average 50+ in matches against him.The Australians being the best collectively against Murali means nothing when it's a list of individual batsmen Murali has bowled to.
Can you get the same stats but this time against Murali and not SriLanka? And individually they did well against him. Half our line-up average 50+ in matches against him.[/IMG]
The above is matches against Sri Lanka in which Murali played. I don't think there is a stat for how much they each scored against him only. Can you get the same stats but this time against Murali and not SriLanka?
I think the one that stands out most there is Ponting. Considering on Murali's list Tendulkar is at no. 3, it's a bit baffling. And individually they did well against him. Half our line-up average 50+ in matches against him.
It was an attempt at humour but clearly not an entirely successful oneWell, even as it is? The batsmen who played him best? His worst record is against the Aussies. Not even one of them?

I dare say Murali bowled to Sachin on more spin friendly wickets.I think the one that stands out most there is Ponting. Considering on Murali's list Tendulkar is at no. 3, it's a bit baffling.
Tendulkar averages 48.64 in the 26 innings he has faced Murali. And Murali has dismissed him 8 times in those innings.
Yet has dismissed Ponting only 3 times in the 17 innings he has played him.
Edit:
I think the reason might be the century count. Ponting only has 1 century against Murali, whilst Tendulkar has 5. That definately doesn't mean Tendulkar dominated Murali more (because Ponting actually averaged much higher in innings against him), but it ties back to my previous point about the 'memorable moments' Murali has probably based his selections on - i.e. he is much more likely to remember the centuries Tendulkar scored against him, than the many half centuries Ponting scored against him.
Righto, still doesn't mean much at all. You know averages are misleading.Welp, Ponting averages 50.11 (10 innings) against Murali in Sri Lanka and Tendulkar averages 45.66 (12 innings) against him there.
10 of the 17 innings for Ponting were played in Sri Lanka. Out of those 10 innings he played in Sri Lanka, Murali dismissed him only once (so in fact he has actually dismissed him more times, in fewer innings, in Australia). He also averaged 55.6 in those 10 innings.I dare say Murali bowled to Sachin on more spin friendly wickets.
That is not detracting from Ponting's record against Murali at all, but facing Murali in India and Sri Lanka is obviously more difficult that on most Australian wickets.
You could use statsguru to get their averages against spin bowling against Sri Lanka. Would be a pretty good estimate. The above is matches against Sri Lanka in which Murali played. I don't think there is a stat for how much they each scored against him only.
I got 55.6 for those 10 innings? Did you include the 105* not out?Welp, Ponting averages 50.11 (10 innings) against Murali in Sri Lanka and Tendulkar averages 45.66 (12 innings) against him there.
How can you punish Ponting for not batting on Indian pitches against Murali? The one place they both batted against the same bowler in the same country for enough tests to get a gauge he did better.Righto, still doesn't mean much at all. You know averages are misleading.
Then there's a **** load of tests on Indian soil to take into account as well.
And this is exactly why you're acting silly. How can you punish Ponting for not batting on Indian pitches against Murali?
You call Sachin fans sensitive, Jeez. Where did I say Ponting is a bad player of spin? or even mention his record in India. It's hilarious to hear people talk of his India record as if it means he is a bad player of spin in general.
