Well... watching Australia bat atm is pretty much like how watching us bat used to be. It's not that fun. ;)

Yeah, it's weird isn't it, the deceleration, the lack of any kind of plan against spinners, and then desperately losing wickets when they are forced into some kind of action. Been a very enjoyable turnaround:)

Why hasnt anyone tried to "hit" (not slog) Yardy

The guy is a batsman with virtually no pretensions as a bowler and they are treating him with more respect than Swann

Overall, it's reminiscent of the last 2 Ashes series where there has been no Plan B

That's out. Pace, swing and full. Fantastic bowling from Tait. Poor batting from Kieswetter though, will continue the belief that he's poor against pace bowling...

Lmao, that's ****ing hilarious. That's the fastest thing that poor sod's ever seen - could tell from the look on his face.

Tait disappointingly down on pace thus far

Reckon he is best played like a medium pacer to be honest - only really bowls stump to stump without any real effort to turn the ball. A couple of them straighten but don't really turn.

It's a strange one, cause we've got a pretty good record of dominating medium pacers but for some reason when we face a guy who effectively bowls it from the front of the hand we shut up shop.

PS: Tait, Bollinger, Harris - pretty nippy attack, Bollinger and Harris aren't exactly medium pace.

Pretty quick over that from Tait. Last 2 deliveries weren't far off 97mph, very good pace.

Kieswetter wasn't surprised by the pace though, was just a poor shot to a good delivery. He didn't appear to struggle when he made 63 against Tait, Nannes and Johnson in the World T20 final.

Gawd knows, I don't think ther's one English supporter that rates Yardy as a bowler.

Pick Davies, England, please:)

How many overs is Tait going to be able to bowl at this sort of pace at a time? He still going to be limited to 3/4 over spells?

When you stand on leg stump and dont move you're feet, you're a sitting duck against guys like Tait

Prior is a much better batsman
