Gayle not dicking around.

Wicket seems pretty lively in comparison to some of the roads seen in Perth in recent years. Windies will do well to save this.

It's a pity Johnson hasn't taken note that balls on a good length cause problems yet. Still spraying it around a bit, but there have been some good balls.

Langer loves seeing Michael Clarke let loose a throw.....I'd agree if he hit the stumps....just once would do.

Would rather seen Aust get to 600 but still nice declaration from Ponting.

Aussies would really want Gayle back in the sheds early.

Johnson - terribly ill-disciplined here. Dougy tighter and good pace but not bowling at the stumps enough.

Bowl at the stumps Dougeh!

Dougeh.

McKay finds out Gayle's difficult to bowl to

Three good balls in the middle though.

...and he calmly plants a 6 over mid-wicket to bring up 50. What a shot!

These near misses will hurt Katich and Haddin the most, wait so long to get into the side and then throw their limited chances away and more than once.

Ponting this morning acting like a bit of a tough guy, obviusly hurting him a lot worse then he was letting on.
