Well, you didn't really deserve it the week you got it , but you deserved it a week or two later, so you should keep it IMO.adharcric, Mate can the Hussey be taken away from me because i seriously didn't deserve it, so i would really be grateful you strip me off that Hussey award.
We need C_C to comment here with a "The Hussey award is nowhere near as good as it was when CW started, the standard has dropped, everything new is dire, blah, blah, blah....."I think the Hussey award needs to be taken a bit more seriously, i mean the award is fast losing its credibility as it is almost being given to any one without taking his/her's quality of posting into account (and sometimes the criteria of the poster being below 500 posts to be eligible for the Hussey, is also being overlooked).
I mean even i got a Hussey and believe me i was awful at that time and didn't deserve to win it.
Agreed with EWS, you deserve it now, so keep it. You can't give it back anywaysadharcric, Mate can the Hussey be taken away from me because i seriously didn't deserve it, so i would really be grateful you strip me off that Hussey award.

Something like this: (I think Perm was an early winner, so I'll use his name in vain)We need C_C to comment here with a "The Hussey award is nowhere near as good as it was when CW started, the standard has dropped, everything new is dire, blah, blah, blah....."
"What you're all too ignorant to realise is that when guys like Perm won the award, they were posting against the greatest set of posters ever assembled. If recent winners tried their FTB (flat thread bully) style against those posters they'd end up dying on the pitch. They all share a common factor which is a complete lack of back-foot posting technique, which is necessary against top-quality posters like those of November 2006, otherwise you'd die on the pitch.
None of the recent posters have demonstrated the prodigal qualities of Perm. Perm was succeeding at the highest level after only 10 posts. There's never been another poster who's had success at such a low post count. And if you've studied prodigies like I have, you'd realise that your prodigal level, as measured by the Sachin-scale, is the sole determinant of your greatness. You all go on about how Perm has lost it recently, but if any poster had been posting the kind of quality he did, against the posters he competed against, from such a prodigal level, they would have long ago died on the pitch."
TBH, it'd be the "OT ain't what it used to be" crew that'd say that - C_C tends to say the exact opposite (ie almost anything pre-1970s was worthless). We need C_C to comment here with a "The Hussey award is nowhere near as good as it was when CW started, the standard has dropped, everything new is dire, blah, blah, blah....."
Ah, explains it all! You were aiming for next week's Skull! It should be mentioned that I picked the Hussey this week.
I better be handsome, eloquent and intelligent. If someone else wants to impersonate Kaz, we can debate this Hussey issue properly.
Too late. Once you have it, you're stuck with it.adharcric, Mate can the Hussey be taken away from me because i seriously didn't deserve it, so i would really be grateful you strip me off that Hussey award.
Well ...I agree that the Hussey award needs an overhall though. It should take into considration the time of signup more than anything.
It should be mentioned that I picked the Hussey this week.
TBH I tend to switch off when reading his stuff, because I get the feeling that not even he believes half of the rubbish he posts.I agree that the Hussey award needs an overhall though. It should take into considration the time of signup more than anything. Also I thought Rodgie was prime material for the AA this week after Rodgiegate IV.
Not really no, but then again a rant with basis isn't worthy of the Saj IMO...Never saw my rant in the WC forum about people continuelly putting down Bangladeshi cricket?
Warne rocks. Australia rocks. The end.Something like this: (I think Perm was an early winner, so I'll use his name in vain)
