The Tiger King
Very good teams most of them.
Hard to vote

But Monk, weldone, and morgieb the ones I voted.

Have to say that very very good teams by pretty much everyone and it was a tough choice to vote for these 3. Monk had Bradman so he obviously has an edge over others.

Morgeib and Monk were somewhat "lucky" to get Sobers and Bradman respectively very late in the draft, so I am going to discount for that a bit. (sorry guys, may be I am bit bitter about not being able to pick them both :()

Morgeib still has a solid team. Harsh has an amazing bowling attack. Third vote is very hard to pick. Going with Coronis for having Steyn and Warne in one team, but there is really nothing in it. (I usually vote based on bowling attacks mostly).

voting for the teams based on who has the less good players?

it's a bold strategy cotton, let's see if it plays off.

Bradman is a big factor obviously, but with so many class bowlers about it is probably not as big as first supposed as each team has a couple of Larwood's to contend with. It's one thing concentrating for 4 or 5 sessions against a standard 1930s attack, but it is another very different thing concentrating for the same period of time against a Gold Tier attack. The pressure is greater and more sustained (Let's not debate that point though!).

1. KK
Has the classiest trio of quicks in Lindwall, Trueman, and Snow, and a great leg spinner to back them up. Worrell adds left-arm variety. The batting is effective all the way down to No.9 with Hobbs being the standout. A perfectly balanced team with a great keeper and no obvious weaknesses.

2. Camo
Probably the hardest team to beat because of Lawry, Woodfull, Border, and Imran all being in the same side. Add the aggression of Lara, Walcott, Greig, Gilchrist, and Hall, plus the rare skills of Johnston and Gupte, and Camo's side has everything. A perfectly balanced team with a great keeper-batsman and no obvious weaknesses.

3. Ankitj
Probably my favourite team because of the pairing of Gavaskar with Hunte, Kanhai with Pollock, Adcock with Miller, and finally Barnes with Grimmett. ABdV and Philander add even more attacking variety. I would have preferred a better keeper but an older experienced Stewart would probably be good enough standing up to the spinners. A well balanced team with excellent attacking potential in every facet of the game.

morgeib - Id want the option to rotate 4 seamers to take advantage of certain conditions and game situations and, IMO, morgeib's is the best team with that option.

Hardest voting thread I can remember.

Monk has the best batting and Harsh the best bowling, but the other units, for me, wasn't quite up to par.

Great job though to everyone.

chose morgeib, harsh and kingkallis' teams. tough call, but these three teams have awesome bowling attacks, very few non-gold ATGs and no (obvious) match fixers. took a couple of days and finally settled for them.
