Bit harsh on the lad...he's averaged 39 for the series so far. He batted exceptionally well in the first Test, in the second Test he got one fantastic delivery and was also run out by his team mate.

That was an ordinary shot just now but otherwise he's looked promising. I also reckon his bowling will be more than useful when the rest of the attack is actually doing their job and the conditions are more helpful (the pitches have been utter ****ing graveyards for the fast men this series).

Dont really see how it was such an ordinary shot as he didnt do too much wrong and it wasnt going to be lbw

Eventually the primary difference between the batting of both the teams has been that every Indian who has made a start has gone onto score big runs, whereas Australia has only one century thus far in this series despite many batsmen getting starts, otherwise when both sides have lost wickets they have lost them in clusters.

Border reckons 350 is a par score??? The pitch is flat as an infant.

Some turn and can get good reverse. 350 isn't too far from being a par score IMO. Maybe 375.

Meh 350 probably is par. Doesn't put you in a dominant position but gives you enough that if you bowl well you can go in to the second innings level pegging. Plenty in it for spin and we'll see a few burst through the surface tomorrow probably.

Haha yeah indeed; was mainly because of how the media reported the squad though. Just seemed like a strange pick based on what they were saying. Not surprised at all that he's batted well in these conditions.

I'd say 410-420 is par considering Australia's bowling attack.

Jadeja now has 17 test wickets in 4* tests @ 22 too, just quietly.
