Anything less than a 100 will be a failure for Amla here. Averages over 100 with 3 hundreds and 500+ runs against the Kiwis at home.

Currently batting in take the piss mode as well.

What's the record in Test Cricket for the biggest lead by the team batting second after day 1 of the match? I know its quite an ambiguous question, but I would be interested and think SA are well on the way to achieving the record.

They could declare now and an innings win would be worth the bet imo.

We had this discussion on cricsim, and it was generally accepted that SA alone looked equal to the task of a rest-of-world XI, more or less.

Nice team, although might as well select de Villiers as the keeper and include Anderson as the 4th bowler.

Either way that side would murder a ROW side atm.

Anderson for Morkel too, I guess, even though it's still close.
Isnít it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too? Ė Douglas Adams

Possibly the Zim match from 05 at this ground. Zim were rolled out for 50 odd and South Africa closed with 300+ on the board.

Probably not.....The SA team might actually suffer with the injection of English players in it
And smalishah's avatar is the most classy one by far Jan certainly echoes the sentiments of CW

Yeah we don't crap in the first world; most of us would actually have no idea what that was emanating from Ajmal's backside. Why isn't it roses and rainbows like what happens here? PEWS's retort to Ganeshran on Daemon's picture depicting Ajmal's excreta
