New rule may suit Williamson if batting at #5, can't clear the boundary like Taylor, but good placement, now more chance of 2s and 3s during overs 25 - 45.

Watling actually looks better than Nicol imo, but he just keeps hitting the ball crisply to fielders, which is basically how he bats.
This isn't a bad start actually. 3.5 up until this point is decent.
Not surprised that Watling looks better than Nicol - almost anyone does. Nicol doing a reasonable job here though
Is it though? With the new fielding restrictions its tough to know what is or isn't a good run rate.

Not terrible from Nicol, though he still only has one fifty vs proper teams.
I guess the plan is to put 230-240 on the board and then hope our seamers get as much movement as SL's and try to knock over their top order.
