I was saying over a few beers after the game on Sunday that I hadn't seen a batsman treat good bowlers with the contempt Clarke has this year since Viv.

I'll adjust that. I don't think even King Viv had a year of such imperious form, although I was too young to see him in 76.

Yeah, not sure what it was either because his bat didn't hit the pad. Probably his feet shuffling or something.
