These guys can't buy a wicket. Why Indian bowling sucks so bad? :(
They have had a chance go down, in fairness.

But really this is a wicket where bowlers can be expected to toil. Before the reverse swing came in England just tried to keep it tight and waited for mistakes, and the Indian top order obliged with that stupid run out and Pujara playing around a straight one.

So if you are more elegant as a left hander god knows what Gambhir and Chanderpaul would be like as right handers.:-O

What a lovely dropped catch, as simple a chance as you ever get at slip.

Compton needs a get out shot to rotate the strike, gets bogged down too easily.

Just imagine what Cook would look like if he weren't left-handed
I think being cack-handed seems to exaggerate the aesthetics of a batsman's play, one way or the other.

You get sumptuous batters like Lara and Gower, but also front-foot biffers like Hayden and bottom-hand stranglers like Fat Gray, whose batting has just been drained of all colour and joy.

Cook far closer to the latter two in terms of a batting beauty contest.

Imagine how bad things would be for India if they hadnt doctored the the pitch to suit their side

Yeah, good call.

Wow, 42 of Cook's 50 are from boundaries!
Shows how little the spinners have been bowled more than owt else, I think.

Sort of a mow over long-on. Weird, thought he'd completely miscued at first because he was shaping up to go extra cover.
