I think Warney's overdoing his "I like spin, me" bit when he's advocating KP getting a go before Bresnan.

Big day for Bresnan, been really lacklustre here and at Lord’s. Not shades of the bowler who Sri Lanka made mince out of all those years back but the guy who averages over 30 in FC cricket.

KP might be able to buy a wicket.

Who cares how you score the runs, as long as you score them and fair play to Sammy because he has got a lot of stick. But recently in the Carribean and this series they are showing a lot of fight under him as captain.

They are fighting for him and for all the people who say bring in Gayle, Sarwan and others would they try as hard for Sammy and the team?

Wasn't it lack of effort that got these guys dropped in the first place?

He was always going to need a bit of luck to get through the new ball but he attacked so well before it was taken that he gave himself a chance of making it to 100. The bowling's still a bit too good for him here, really, but hopefully once they tire/bring Swann on he can start taking it apart again.

He doesn't look fit. Definitely some spark missing this season. Thought last test it wasdue to it being Lords where he doesn't do very well anyway but it may be time for Finn to replace him in the next test.

Exactly! They were losing test matches with those players in it in any case.

Would be great though for the Windies if they could get the best out of their most talented players and play as a team & for the captain (Sammy or not).

Think the comms are giving Bres a little too much credit. Wasn't a terrible bouncer, but it was more the batsman's error. Was fetching it from a way outside off.
