Who would be more threatening to Sehwag, Asif or Steyn

Was watching some old highlights of Asif against Sehwag and Asif on a couple of occasions i saw managed to beat Sehwag with the one that came back in.

So, i started thinking who would be more threatening to Sehwag Steyn or Asif, considering everyone's current form in Test Cricket....

Neither if the pitch is flat. Both of them if there is something in it for the bowlers.

They're two completely different players tbh, I would love to see Asif more in full-flow, but Steyn tbh normally. To Sehwag, probably Asif because he has the brains to Steyns pace.

Both would own Sehwag if there was something as much as slight in favour for the bowlers, but both would get owned if it's a featherbed.

Asif is one of the best flat pitch bowlers in the world so Sehwag in that case, otherwise Steyn.

I will go with Asif because he has come out on top in his only confrontation with Sehwag in tests.

Fineee

I'd probably say Asif since he can move the ball on different kinds of tracks as opposed to Steyn who relies on brute pace a lot of the time.

Steyn averages around 20 in the subcontinent which has thrown up quite few flatbeds in the recent past.

Both are first rate bowlers, a rarity in today's cricket. Even though history says Asif has had the upperhand over Sehwag, I don't think they've played a fair sample to arrive at a definitive conclusion.

In present form, sehwag is likely to come on top against both these bowlers. But each possess different weapons to get him out. Steyn can take him out with searing yorkers or pitched up deliveries swinging into his pads, Asif is much slower through the air and can get banana swing should conditions suit and get him to miscue or nick one, as sehwag usually prefers to have some pace on the ball to work with.

It is hard to say, I would say it just depends on whose day it is. On his day, Sehwag would do what he usually does that is destroy any bowling attack.

I can see Sehwag completkey destroying Asif on a flat track and Asif to return the favour on a semiing one.

Sehwag-Asif 5-5

Steyn Sehwag 6-4(Steyn)

Asif is a pretty ordinary flat track bowlerthough if there is some help he is probably the best currently to exploit it.
