Hoping Finn comes good this year and that he had a productive off-season. He may be ordinary for the rest of his carer but he is at that 'interesting' stage right now.
Finn is an interesting one. He looked a class above in the U19 games, one or two years back, but hasn't dont the business in County Cricket. My irresponsible spending means I am stuck hoping that Meaker's season in Grade cricket has done him a world of good.

From the little I've seen, I rate Danny Evans the better bowler then Finn, it'll be interesting to see if both start or if one is chosen over the other, as they're fairly similar.

Last season Dawson was a real find for Hampshire and I would have favoured him over Batty in the West Indies.
You are kidding, surely? Batty may be one of the most obviously not-international-class players around and Dawson may be a promising all-rounder but he's not even out of his teens and clearly isn't county-standard yet.

What on Earth would've been gained by him playing ODIs in West Indies?

Yes would have been far too soon for Dawson to be given a gig with the England side. He has promise and potential, let's let him develop for a while before being torn apart with an England appearance far too early (which would surely have happened).

No overseas player in the true sense of the ruling, however, your entire top 6 was born outside of England!

Durham off to a good start, 48-0 after 11.1 overs so far.

Saj 'Cannon fodder tripe who should never ever friggin ever be picked ahead of Mark Davies' Mahmood out of the attack after 4 overs for 20.

Rubbish Cricinfo has since changed so Woakes was the second bowler instead of Mahmood. And now they've switched it back...
