White Ferns won

They were cracking along and were 160-3 after 39 overs, but had a massive collapse and managed to just make it over 200 in the end. Was pretty disappointing that they didn't manage to kick on with it, but anything over 200 appears to be a good score in womens cricket.

Bates and Satterthwaite were superb with the bat, they were the stand outs to me with some great strokeplay from them both. Tiffen was an absolute rock and just what they needed really.

The Aussies came out looking to be really aggressive and that was their undoing really. Some really poor shots from their top order. Especially from their stars Rolton and Sthalekar.

NZ were on top, and I don't think the Aussies would have got there personally. Especially with the way the White Ferns were bowling and fielding.
