Swann's got his fingers under that, but I'm not sure they'll give it.

Yeah precisely. Some of the shots weren't the best, but given that the ball was moving both ways, it's very difficult to leave good length balls outside off stump.

I think that chance is one of those where it was a catch but TV umpires will never give it.

Fair call on the rest of them but Smith's was mainly just a joke of a shot.

Pushed very hard, but credit to the bowler for putting it in the right spot and moving it.

Have a go at Anderson gobbing off when he's bowling half rat power hoopers with a thunderstorm over his head.

Wouldn't feed the ****. Hope someone crushes his larynx when he bats with a well placed short one.

Yes mate, they can. Can't batsmen be expected to tough it out when there's a bit in the pitch though either? Looking mainly at Phil Hughes and Brad Haddin here. I think people have a right to be disappointed with the shots these two played in particular, I'm pretty sure most people of a sane mind would agree England have bowled very well again today.

There has been some very good bowling on a helpful deck...but if that's all it takes for us to be 7/70 then we have some problems. Wouldn't you agree?

Yeah true, but that's two out of eight. Two bad shots =/= 8/80

Doubt that is all it took. We still manage to **** the bed even with helpful batting conditions. First innings Adelaide for one.
