Symonds Out

All-rounder Andrew Symonds has been dropped from the Australian side to play the first Test against Bangladesh, and will act as 12th man.

The selectors have seemingly lost patience with the under performing Queenslander, who has been averaging less than twenty in his brief Test career. His replacement will be Michael Clarke.

In other changes Jason Gillespie and Stuart MacGill have earned recalls to the Australian side, with the injuries to Justin Langer and Michael Kasprowicz. The first Test starts Sunday.
