Sky NZ to cover Zimbabwe Tour

Sky television has confirmed that it will cover all of New Zealand’s matches in the up-and-coming Zimbabwe tour, live and ball-by-ball.

The schedule includes two tests and a one-day tri-series that also includes India.

Sky’s director of communications Tony O’Brien reinfored the nature of the broadcaster, to simply provide a service for the viewers. He added that Sky are committed to following the Black Caps “where-ever they go and whenever possible.”

No Sky staff or commentators will be sent over, so there were no possible security risks.

The first test starts on August 7 in Harare.
