Shabbir called legal

Pakistani seamer Shabbir Ahmed has been cleared by the ICC to resume his International bowling career. The news comes after extensive tests held at the University of Western Australian.

Shabbir, 29, was called for throwing earlier this year, against the West Indies, and has since undergone remedial work. Currently his action stands within the 15 degrees the ICC allows bowlers to flex the arm from the elbow.

Suggestions from the Pakistan Cricket Board indicate that Shabbir Ahmed will feature against England, in the upcoming series.
