Saqibul and Farhad in for Tigers

Uncapped youngsters Saqibul Hasan and Farhad Reza have been included in Bangladesh’s preliminary squad for the tour to Africa in July and August. A nineteen member squad was today announced by the BCB for the trip to Zimbabwe and Kenya, where the Tigers will provisionally play seven one day internationals.

Hasan is widely regarded as one of the hottest future talents in the subcontinent, and is an aggressive batsman and slow left arm bowler. Reza has constantly shone in the one-day National Cricket League with both bat and ball.

Several players will tour Zimbabwe with the ‘A’ side in June and July before the senior party arrive, as Bangladesh gear up for next year’s World Cup in the West Indies.
