No play on Monday either

The third and final day of West Indies’ tour match with Somerset was washed out.

With Sunday and a fair portion of Saturday also without play, West Indies have had less than 50 overs of match practice ahead of the Lord’s Test, starting Thursday. Their bowlers have not been able to spend any time in the middle.

This left them confined to the nets at Taunton, where a couple of minor injuries were sustained by batsmen, but nothing to put them in doubt for Thursday.

West Indies 237-4
Runako Morton 103, Shivnarine Chanderpaul 82*
Steffan Jones 3-74
