Mohammad Asif fined

Pakistan’s Mohammad Asif has been fined for excessive appealing during the recent third One Day International against India, which India won by five wickets. The fast bowler was made to surrender 10% of his match fee for the breach of the ICC Code of Conduct, following a hearing conducted by match referee Chris Broad.

The initial charge was made by on-field umpires Simon Taufel and Asad Rauf, as well as third umpire Zamir Haider.
