McGrath fit for Oval

After missing the 4th test due to an elbow injury, Glenn McGrath will play in the Ashes decider.

He took part in a training session on Wednesday and said ‘It’s business as usual.’ He will most likely replace Michael Kasprowicz, with Shaun Tait gaining a second test cap.

With England winning both tests with McGrath absent, Australia need to win at The Oval to retain the Ashes urn. It is also more than likely that Australia will no longer consider playing 5 bowlers.

This will further please the Australian camp after the news yesterday that Simon Jones, arguably England’s best bowler of the series, will miss out due to his ankle injury.
