Match abandoned after rain.

The second match in the neutral series between West Indies A and Pakistan has been called off without a ball being bowled due to heavy rain.

Yesterday, the match between the two sides was in the balance when bad light prevented play from continuing past the 22nd over in Pakistan’s reply. Predictably, Shoaib Akhtar’s performance was analysed closely yesterday, but Bob Woolmer, Pakistan’s coach, did not give any hints whether Shoaib would start against England in the final Test of the series.
