Martyn joins ICL

Recently retired Australian batsman Damien Martyn, has signed up to the new Indian Cricket League, reports suggested today.

Although he initially declined an invitation from the rebel league to join the organization, he has since accepted a lucrative offer from the ICL, becoming the first Australian on-board the league in the process.

Martyn played 67 Tests and 208 ODIs for Australia before unexpectedly retiring after the second Test in the 2006/07 Ashes.
