Loye shocked by abuse

England debutant Mal Loye has voiced his amazement at the level of abuse directed at him by the Australian crowd during Friday’s ODI in Brisbane.

Loye, who top scored for England with 36 in his first match, toldBBC Radio he had never heard anything like it before.

“I have never been verbally abused like that my whole life.

“I can’t repeat what they said. I thought I was a reasonable bloke until yesterday.”
