Hayden in doubt for Nagpur

In-form Australian opener Matthew Hayden is in doubt for Australia’s sixth ODI against India after sustaining an injury in the previous match.

Hayden looked in visible pain during his innings of 29 earlier in the week, needing a runner to stay at the crease in Australia’s nine wicket win at Vadodara.

Australian captain Ricky Ponting told the media today that the Australian management will wait till the morning of the match to make a decision on whether Hayden will be able to take part, or if Brad Haddin will need to be called up as a replacement.
