Gilchrist questions selection

Adam Gilchrist has questioned the inclusion of South African wicketkeeper Mark Boucher in the World XI’s test side.

Gilchrist reasoned that Kumar Sangakkara should retain his place for the Test, starting in Sydney on Friday, after playing well in the one-day series.

He believes Sangakkara is a proven performer and should be selected based on his understanding with Muttiah Muralitharan alone.

Boucher has struggled in recent times and was dropped from the national side last year.
