Ganguly to hear appeal result

Sourav Ganguly is set to find out the result of the second appeal against the six-match ban he received as a result of his sides slow over rate during the one-day series between India and Pakistan last April.

Ganguly originally lost the appeal to the ban however the Indian cricket board decided to appeal once again this time to the International Cricket Council code of conduct process dispute.

The ban only comes into effect in the limited over game therefore Ganguly has still been named in the squad for the tour of Sri Lanka, but will have to wait for the result of the appeal to see how much cricket he will see.
