Dravid fined for slow over rate

Indian captain Rahul Dravid has been fined 20% of his match fee for a slow over rate in the first One Day International against Pakistan, played on Monday at Peshawar. The other members of the team have copped a fine of 10% of their fees.

Pakistan won the match on the Duckworth-Lewis system by 7 runs, when bad light ended the game with 18 runs needed off the last 3 overs.

There is speculation that it is the final drinks break that pushed India out of the time frame in which the overs are required to be bowled.
