Croft hurt in car accident

Glamorgan captain, and former England off-spinner, Robert Croft had to spend a night (Tuesday night) in a hospital, after he was involved in a car collision on a motorway.

Croft’s car banged into a lorry on the M4 near Swansea on Tuesday evening, following which he was kept overnight at the local Morriston Hospital for scans, before being released on Wednesday afternoon.

Croft retired from international cricket last year, but since then has upped his performances in domestic cricket, winning the Glamorgan’s player of the year award for the last domestic season, as well as leading them to the Totesport League title.
