Comprehensive win for India

Indian warmed up for the Indian Oil triangular tournament with a comprehensive victory over a Kurunegala Invitation XI.

Batting first India set a competitive total of 250 in 42.2 overs with wicketkeeper MS Dhoni impressing again after his 86 on Monday with a stylish 88 including six fours and two sixes.

Kurunegala Invitation XI lost wicket regularly in pursuit of the victory target despite useful innings of 51 from de Silva and 46 from Mubarak, the Indian bowlers kept the pressure on with Pathan standing out with 3/20 and Nehra and Sehwag picking up a couple of wickets each.
