Collingwood to face referee

England captain Paul Collingwood has been called to a disciplinary meeting in front of match referee Roshan Mahanama after his side’s slow over rate in the second ODI at Bristol.

Collingwood could face a two match ban or a fine of up to half his match fee if found guilty of failing to maintain a normal over rate, after his side finished their 50 overs 40 minutes late in yesterday’s nine run loss to India.

Collingwood has however claimed that the poor over rate was out of his control due to side screen problems and medical treatment to Sachin Tendulkar who suffered cramps whilst batting.
