Relaxation time short lived

October tends to be the month when cricketers get some time off from cricket and can relax. It is also the time many go away on holiday and forget about the exhausting season. I managed to get away with my Wife to Cyprus for a week. Unfortunately for myself and Andy the relaxation time is short lived as we have our own coaching business which kicked off for the winter on the 16th October. I guess you could say myself and Andy have cricket in our blood!

Chris Taylor back with a bang

I am eventually back playing cricket again after three months on the sidelines with a bad hamstring and calf injury. With no 2nd XI cricket or practice I was selected for the Yorkshire Twenty/20 side to play against Leicestershire at Grace Road.

From Bad to Worse for Chris Taylor

Things have gone from bad to worse since my last article! Having recovered from the tear of my hamstring, I was selected to play for Yorkshire 2nd XI vs Notts and was told a decent knock and I would be back in the 1st team.

Gale returns from India

On the 11th of February I flew to India, Mohali to attend the Global Cricket Academy. I was there with all the Yorkshire batsmen and a couple of the spinners to get some pre-season batting under my belt.
