In February 1998 England’s Under-19s won the World Cup in South Africa by comfortably beating New Zealand in the final. In this book David Tossell has looked at the lives and subsequent careers of the 14 members of the England squad (a 15th man, Middlesex all rounder Aaron Laraman, had left the party early due to injury).
Perhaps the first cricket book of its kind; however this does not guarantee a high rating. Have a read of David’s review to see what he thought.

Another book rolls off the production line that should be in all cricket libraries. This weeks book is essential reading earning four and a half stars.

Cricket and Football, it sounds like the dream to the English section of our cricket web readers. Still in a World Cup year, there should be enough to keep us non soccer fans excited, in this new book.
