100 Hundreds for Hick

Graeme Hick has become the first player to hit 100 centuries for Worcestershire. Only seven other players have also passed this mark for their counties.

Hick now has 130 first class centuries in all, which is one more than the great Sir Leonard Hutton. He is the only player since World War 2, apart from Geoff Boycott to have hit 100 centuries for his county.

This may be Hick’s last season, having played for Worcestershire for 22 years.

Players to score 100 Centuries for their County are:
JB Hobbs (Surrey, 144 centuries),
CP Mead (Hampshire, 138),
FE Woolley (Kent, 122),
EH Hendren (Middlesex, 119),
WR Hammond (Gloucestershire, 113),
H Sutcliffe (Yorkshire, 112),
G Boycott (Yorkshire, 103), and
G Hick (Worcestershire, 100),
